GM has identified a moisture intrusion problem on the rear bank knock sensor on 4.8L, 5.3L, & 6.0L engines. The repair procedure has been outlined by General Motors and requires removing the upper intake manifold, replacing the rear knock sensor or both knock sensors, RTV'ing the area to prevent water intrusion, then installing new upgraded gaskets, & clearing any trouble codes.
